Strange. So many times I hear people say they "hate their life". I don't understand it. You can change your life in any way you wish. Many think, "oh, that's impossible for me". But it's not. It doesn't take a large change, just a small one. And the small changes you can make are cumulative. They add up over time, just as a snow ball rolling downhill grows.
If you hate your life, compare it to anothers'. No matter how badly your life may be going, there is someone who is in a much worse situation. And if you're totally lost in despair, talk to someone. There are many like me out there, working toward a goal, who can help.

Me. Yeah. I live to serve. Sounds strange, but it's something I've known for a long, long time. I know what I am, and sometimes I despair of it, but I endure. That is probably the ultimate key to existence, endurance."This too shall pass". We all touch the people we meet, in ways most of us can never know. And there are some of us who can see a need, see into a soul in pain, and cannot help but soothe it. We try to guide it to it's own salvation.
Why do I do what I do? It's very simple. I seek...grace, redemption, whatever you may want to call it. A simple forgiveness for crimes I never committed, just being what I was created to be. But every time I achieve a measure of grace, I give it away, freely and without hesitation, to another in need. And perhaps that in itself may be my own salvation.
I've been called many things in my life. (the hurtful things tend to stay with me: ugly, dork, nerd...even though most of them are true), but I've been called brilliant, genius, talented, loving, caring, natural leader. But probably the most inaccurate is "angel". Many I've talked through a problem have called me that. And I always try to correct them. "Fallen" would be an accurate description. But in my efforts to elevate myself once again, I elevate all I come in contact with. The lost child, someone hopeless and in total despair, a soul tortured by what they've seen, or been required to do. All of these cry out to me, and I attempt, in my own inadequate way, to sooth and comfort them. To show them the way to their own peace.
I can only hope I can continue to help, and that whoever reads this may find their own peace in time...
